Hello, I’m Svetlana Lerie — a surface pattern designer and illustrator with a passion for layered form, texture, and timeless aesthetics.

With a quiet leap of faith, I left behind a career in academia and science to fully dedicate myself to creative work. What began as a creative outlet has evolved into a design practice rooted in curiosity, craftsmanship, and visual storytelling. I now create illustrations and patterns that are meant to be lived with — on fabrics, homewares, and everyday surfaces.

My process blends traditional media with digital techniques, combining layered textures, botanical elements, and geometric structure. I work in both vector and raster formats, exploring design across styles and materials — from hand-drawn florals to modular compositions.
